Good vibes and good food!

I came here with a group of 5 and we shared 5 items. The tables are a little small (expected bc it's a pub) that we even had to get a small desk next to our table to fit all the food lol.

Food came out fast and waiters were nice!

5/5 Pork belly with kimchi -- sooo good! I think this one is a must have. The flavors are bomb and the kimchi + garlic + pepper was a good mix.

4/5 Corn cheese pancake -- eat it when it first comes out bc the cheese will solidify. There's a little sweetness to it and is way better than regular corn cheese at other places.

3/5 Rose tteokbokki -- p basic and the portion is actually kinda small. I wish there was more rice cakes in it. Overall okay flavor, I'd prefer the regular tteokbokki.

4/5 Garlic chicken wings -- the portion is HUGE, my group took a good amount home. Nice garlicky flavor and comes with fried rice cake pieces.

4/5 Spicy seafood soup -- Good soup for the cold weather! Nice variety of seafood and noodles were good.

The spot has been on my list to try when I visited OC - and trust me it did not disappoint! Misoolkwan OC is a casual restaurant that serves Korean pub food. This place is great for big groups (or even smaller groups as well!). My friends and I went for early dinner and luckily we didn't have to wait and were seated right away. It did start to get super busy during evening dinner time so that's something to keep in mind, it would probably be a smart idea to reserve a table in advance.

Service would excellent and our waiter was really nice.

For a group of 4 people, here's what we got (w/ soju of course):

Tasty Cheesy Popping Corn Pancake |10/10, would get again
Stir Fried Pork Belly w/ Kimchi |10/10, would get again; the jalapenos are very spicy though! Be aware if you're not a spice fanatic.
Soy Sauce Marinated Salmon | 10/10, would get again

Straight 10s across the board?! I could hardly believe my ratings either. Everything we got, I would definitely get again. And I've been dreaming of my next meal. Can't wait to come back to this spot.

Tried this Korean food gem last night - no reservations meant an hour's wait on a bustling Saturday night, but the experience was totally worth it!

The food is delicious, and the option to enjoy rice wine, beer, and soju added a delightful twist.

The restaurant has a fantastic vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends.
Divided into BBQ on one side and hot food/hot pot soup on the other, it caters to diverse cravings.

Bonus points for free parking and its convenient location on the third floor of The Source in Buena Park. A must-try for Korean cuisine enthusiasts!

I love the interior design of this place! It's super old and vintage vibe with modern style food. The food is perfect for sharing as the portions are pretty big! Super flavorful and my favorite is probably the chicken wings haha. I love coming here with friends because the vibes are always so fun :3

Have been here several times for food and drinks! Usually come on the weekends and there is always a wait. We've waited anywhere from 30 min to 1 hour.

On our most recent visit the hostess noted the parties that were still waiting directly outside the restaurant and prioritized their seating over the other parties who had left to walk around or shop. We usually put our name down and walk around but we just got lucky this time and happened to stay. Not sure if this is a new policy they are enforcing or a one time thing. I would let the host know if you are going to leave so they know you aren't a no show.

The ambience is nice and lively - the interior design/decoration give off traditional street food stall vibes. Food is really good for a pub/pocha and they have a wider variety. It is better to come in groups of 4 or more so you can order more dishes since everything is made for sharing.

Stir-Fried Pork Belly & Kimchi - Our favorite dish and a must try! We order it every time we come. The kimchi is very flavorful and a tiny bit sweet and the fried garlic goes well with the crispy pork belly. Only complaint is that sometimes to portion of pork belly is inconsistent.

Boneless Fried Chicken - Tried for the first tike recently. Nothing too special, sort of dry and not very crispy. Dont think we would order again. Maybe the marinated options are better. We asked for spicy mayo and the spicy marinade on the side.

Misoolkwan Clam Soup - We added the kalguksu noodles. Super clean and light broth, great for a cold night! Lots of clams. Another favorite.

Seafood & Kimchi Pancake - Another favorite! Always super crispy and filling. Very large portion. Wish there was a little bit more seafood but always a good option.

Onggi Aged Soy Sauce Beef Tartare - Nice and fresh. A decent portion.

Stir Fried Beef Brisket and Mung Bean Sprouts - Good but veryyyy spicy!

Muscat Ice Blended Makgeolli - Not a big fan of ice blended drinks but the flavor was ok. A little too sweet for my taste. If you dont drink it fast enough it starts melting and separating at the bottom.

Service can be a little slow sometimes but its because they are busy. The staff are very friendly though. There is also a no tipping policy here which is kinda nice. Last Valentines day they were taking free polaroids of couples which was a nice gesture.

Great place for food and drinks. Want to to try the Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup and Soy Sauce Marinated Shrimp & Salmon next!

My group and I arrived on a Saturday evening and they were fairly busy. For a group of 3, it took around 30 mins for them to call our name and they asked if we were willing to sit in the outdoor patio. We saw that no one was even seated there so i'm not sure why it took some time for them to offer it. In the end, we agreed because we were hungry and cold.

We ordered the garlic fried chicken, Misoolkwan tteokbokki, and the seafood kimchi pancakes. We also ordered some soju to drink, and they made us drink out of plastic sauce containers which was interesting. The chicken was flavorful but the tteokbokki could've came with more rice cakes since that was the main dish.

Although we were seated outside, they had heat lamps to keep us warm and the waiter was very attentive.

The food was great. I don't think they have enough servers and because of this, it just takes too long to order the food or even find a server. I even had to get the plates and utensils myself

It's ok little bit confusing when the restaurants are divided into two. We waited an hour but end up lining up for a wrong section. If this is your first time make sure you are dining in for bbq or entree
